About

Greg Dawson – Founder
AppMotionPR is the brainchild of Greg Dawson, a public relations professional who has ideated, planned and executed PR and social media strategies for a variety of apps (gaming and non-gaming) that have hit the top spots (several #1) on the App Store. More importantly, he’s created a widespread brand awareness for each of these companies, their executives and their apps. It’s basically the trifecta of PR. Some of the apps Dawson has strategized for, include Major Magnet, Jammit, Smash Cops Heat, Rhythm Racer II, Kung Fu Panda 2 storybook and digital comics for Pocket God, Cut the Rope, Squids, Temple Run and Fruit Ninja, etc.

Historically, Dawson has strategized for world leading brands (Red Bull, GM, LG Electronics, Home Depot, MARS) at top global agencies Weber Shandwick, Ogilvy PR and Bender Helper Impact. Wanting to combine his passion and experience in technology, Dawson started AMPR to focus on mobile apps and consumer tech.

Here are a few of his current and past clients:

Dawson specializes in mobile apps, consumer tech, digital publishing platforms and video game titles. Additional clients have included: Bender/Helper Impact (Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Image Metrics, Direct2Drive, Sony Creative Software, Konami, EA, Majesco); AvatarLabs (Rhythm Racer 2, Poo Log, Mad Men); TCC Adventures; AZOMOB (Dude App); Gboard.com.

Previously, Dawson’s agency roles at Weber Shandwick and Ogilvy PR provided him invaluable experience with PR campaigns for clients such as LG Electronics, Red Bull, Electronic Arts, MARS Snackfoods, Ace Hardware, GM and Kia Motors America.
